You didn't become a coach to perform coaching.
Somewhere along the way, that's what it became.
SourceWorks™ is a mastery-aligned coach education program for experienced coaches who are ready to stop doing coaching — and return to the embodied being of it, so they can make a greater impact.
You close your laptop after a full day of sessions. Good sessions your clients would probably call transformative — and yet, something inside you feels inexplicably empty.
You’ve done the training. Earned the credential. Built the practice. As a coach, you ask the questions, hold the space, and get the results. And still, there is a gap between the coaching you do and the coaching you know is possible.
It’s not burnout, or incompetence, but drift.
The drift happens gradually, almost invisibly. The industry grows louder, and the pressure to niche, to scale, to systematize, to produce measurable and marketable outcomes accumulates. And somewhere between building a practice and meeting the market’s expectations, the original reason you said yes to this work gets harder to feel.
Most coaches don’t need more technique. They need less effort.
They need to return to the place within where their best coaching has always come from. That place is Source. And the coach who learns to work from it — rather than around it — becomes something different entirely.
SourceWorks™ teaches you to coach differently — by returning you to the ground from which masterful coaching actually emerges.
That ground is Source-Based Coaching™.
It's not a competency checklist, or a tactics course packed with tools and frameworks. It's a return to the essence of who you are.
Source-Based Coaching™ is built on one conviction:
The most powerful tool you have as a coach is not a technique. It is you — the quality of your attention, the honesty of your presence, and the degree to which you have done your own work and kept doing it.
Lerae Gidyk has been coaching since 1999 — before mentor coaching was regulated, before the profession had formalized standards for the role, before coaching became the global industry it is today.
She became one of Canada’s first Master Certified Coaches (MCC) in 2006 and has accumulated more than 15,000 coaching hours across 43 countries. She developed the COACH ME model, co-founded FindACoach.com, and served as Director of Education at Coaching Out of the Box.
In 2020, she co-created Become A Mentor Coach (BAM) — one of the first ICF-approved mentor coach education programs — because she saw the profession needed it before anyone required it.
In 2026, she was appointed by the International Coaching Federation to co-lead the creation of the first global Mentor Coaching Community of Practice.
She doesn’t just teach the standards. She helps write them.
But what her students return to, year after year, is not the credential or the hours. It is the quality of her presence. The precision of what she sees. The way the work continues to penetrate long after the program ends.
SourceWorks™ is the distillation of 27 years of protecting what matters most about this profession. It is, in every sense, the work of her life.
SourceWorks™ is a beginning, not a conclusion. Coaches who complete the program don’t graduate into a static credential — they graduate into a deeper practice and a professional community that continues to grow.
For coaches who want to go further:
Become a Mentor Coach (BAM) — Formalize your capacity to mentor other coaches to ICF standards. BAM offers multiple program pathways leading to the Mentor Coaching Specialization designation, co-delivered with Morningstar Centre for Engagement.
Continuing education — Courses for SourceWorks™ alumni are currently in development, including future opportunities for graduates to contribute to and earn from the SourceWorks™ ecosystem.
