What SourceWorks™ Is

A six-month return to the source of your work.

Rooted in the Source-Based Coaching Model™ and Competencies, this transformational coach education journey aligns with the most current ICF Core Competencies, MCC Minimum Skills Requirements, and credential-level distinction. Over six months, you will move through five interconnected arcs of development:

Returning to the inner ground. Examining the conditioning, adaptations, and hidden agendas that shape how you show up in the room. Becoming a cleaner instrument.

Soul Design

Understanding your original coaching blueprint — the recurring themes of who you are as a coach beneath the training, the branding, and the business-building. Building a practice congruent with that blueprint rather than adapted away from it.

Presence and Partnership

Deepening the quality of your attention, your listening, and your capacity for genuine co-creative partnership with clients. Moving from performing presence to inhabiting it.

Mastery in Practice

Integrating the inner work into your actual coaching sessions. What changes when you coach from Source rather than from technique — and what your clients feel when you make that shift.

Global Impact

Expanding your understanding of coaching as a contribution to the evolution of human consciousness. Embodying a way of being that supports wholeness, humanity, and meaningful change in the wider world.

What’s Included

Here's what six months of SourceWorks™ looks like:

Live group sessions — Regular cohort gatherings combining teaching, practice, and deep reflection. Small group by design — every participant is known, every voice has room.

Mentor coaching — Direct mentoring on your coaching practice. Real sessions, real feedback, real development.

Supervision coaching — A reflective space to explore what happens within you, between you and the client, and within the coaching field — so your development is not only skill-based but also human, ethical, and relational.

Peer community + group project — A small group of coaches in the same honest season of their practice. Alongside peer reflection and practice, participants collaborate throughout the program on a shared project that helps them apply, integrate, and create from their learning.

The SourceWorks™ Guide — The foundational text for the program, included with enrollment.

Supplemental materials — Practices, reflections, and resources to support the work between sessions.

Who is teaching this — and why it matters.

Lerae Gidyk has been coaching since 1999 — before mentor coaching was regulated, before the profession had formalized standards for the role, before coaching became the global industry it is today.

She became one of Canada’s first Master Certified Coaches (MCC) in 2006 and has accumulated more than 15,000 coaching hours across 43 countries. She developed the COACH ME model, co-founded FindACoach.com, and served as Director of Education at Coaching Out of the Box.

In 2020, she co-created Become A Mentor Coach (BAM) — one of the first ICF-approved mentor coach education programs — because she saw the profession needed it before anyone required it.
In 2026, she was appointed by the International Coaching Federation to co-lead the creation of the first global Mentor Coaching Community of Practice.

She doesn’t just teach the standards. She helps write them.

But what her students return to, year after year, is not the credential or the hours. It is the quality of her presence. The precision of what she sees. The way the work continues to penetrate long after the program ends.

How SourceWorks™ runs.

SourceWorks™ runs twice a year in small cohorts, which is intentional. This work requires genuine community, and that requires knowing the people beside you. Seats are limited — not as a marketing device, but because the program is designed to be intimate, and intimacy has a ceiling.

SourceWorks™ is a beginning, not a conclusion. Coaches who complete the program don’t graduate into a static credential — they graduate into a deeper practice and a professional community that continues to grow.

For coaches who want to go further:

Become a Mentor Coach (BAM) — Formalize your capacity to mentor other coaches to ICF standards. BAM offers multiple program pathways leading to the Mentor Coaching Specialization designation, co-delivered with Morningstar Centre for Engagement.

Continuing education — Courses for SourceWorks™ alumni are currently in development, including future opportunities for graduates to contribute to and earn from the SourceWorks™ ecosystem.
